About the Role

We are looking for a candidate with knowledge and experience in data analytics. You will be working within a continuous deliver development process and holds a high degree of motivation for quality engineering and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Providing Business support through data analysis and research.
  • Modifying pre-designed queries to assess data for research purposes. Conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Independently run data statistics, including coverage stats, field populations, etc.
  • Supporting business or other teams with data subject matter expertise.
  • Completing new data evaluations to diverse audiences. Create data documentation including mappings and quality thresholds.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through data quality checks and validations.
  • Communicating complex data findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Undertaking and complete new data onboarding and/or production data management functions as assigned/required.

Requirements

  • Experience answering specific quantitative questions and identifying trends and patterns in large data sets.
  • Be able to introspect into the inner workings of large, distributed products built mostly in Java.
  • Experience using data visualization tools and building custom visualizations and reports.
  • Experience in with SQL systems (Postgres),
  • Experience developing, testing, and communicating analytical tools and models.
  • Be able to collaborate across functional teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, support).
  • Demonstrate understanding of software deployment tools and processes. Good time management and prioritization skills.
