Responsible for driving and leading the delivery of the Ethics capabilities. This includes the entire book-of-work for Data & AI Ethics. Scope is governance structures, processes and technology component delivery, aligned to an agreed Target Op Model.

Ensures consistency in the standards and methods of the Applied Science community. Provides insightful, high quality complex information and advice to stakeholders.

Location: London - Hybrid working 2 days per week and the rest from home.

Where does the role sit?

We’re the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) within Lloyds Banking Group! Our mission is to promote, embed and commercialise Data & Analytics practice and culture across our business.

Implement data and artificial intelligence, ethic controls for Lloyd’s banking group.

What exactly would you focus on as a Data & AI Ethics Program Manager?

You'll support the growth of LBG data capability. As part of the team, help mitigate risk and aid smooth transition to realise our data driven vision, as we transform the bank in a safe way.

Designing and building ethical workflows, technology and governance processes to ensure manage and control for ethical risks. Working collaboratively to mentor, support, challenge on Data risk related matters and together we make it possible!

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

You’ll be responsible for driving and owning the delivery of the Ethics capabilities over the next 12-24 months across LBG Group.

You’ll be responsible for evolving and maturing governance structures, processes and technology component delivery, aligned to an agreed Target Op Model.

Also, the creation and Delivery of the Data & AI Ethics Plans

Implementation of effective Ethics governance structures

So what experience & skills do I need to apply?

  • IT Project/Program Management experience using Agile, Scaled Agile (SAFE) & Waterfall
  • Banking experience – delivering IT Programs to completion in Risk in complex matrix-style (or federated) organizational structures
  • Ability to develop delivery roadmaps for IT teams, based on partial information
  • Very good stakeholder Management skills, including influencing skills, ability to form enduring relationships and productive partnerships
  • Strong presentation skills – facilitating and running meetings involving multiple stakeholders (from IT and business Units)

Experience

  • Solid understanding of Data Ethics and/or Data Management Lifecycle strongly preferred
  • Rigorous approach to Change Control - coordinating/aligning delivery with other multiple concurrent Programs
  • Proactive and positive approach, whilst working in a fast paced multi-stakeholder environment
  • Proven RAID management/resolution experience crucial
  • Comfortable organizing and running Working Group meetings
  • Ability to manage competing demands and priorities

Desirables:

  • Working knowledge of Data Ethics and/or Data Management Lifecycle strongly preferred

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified
  • MSP, Agile or Prince qualified
