The work

An overview of the role:

As a Digital Product Analytics Consultant, you will become a key Member of our Digital & Customer Analytics team. You will have the opportunity to work across sectors and industries, but your specific capability expertise will be in Digital Product Analytics. You will work with market-leading clients, applying cutting-edge technologies to solve impactful product optimisation problems.

You will collaborate with industry leaders to provide advice on how data collected from digital products can be used to improve customer and user experiences. You will have deep expertise in some (or all) of the following areas: channel effectiveness, product analytics, conversion optimization or social analytics. Using your consulting skills and data analysis skills like data visualization and query development, you will develop compelling narratives for our clients on how they can transform their user experience. This will include planning, managing, and organising projects as well as delivering presentations to clients and working to tight deadlines.

You'll closely collaborate with multifunctional teams, utilising advanced analytics, AI, and emerging technologies to confront intricate challenges in digital product analytics and optimisation.

Leading data-driven initiatives and transformations, you'll delve into the intricacies of analysing user engagement and behaviour data. Your analytical prowess will serve to translate data into actionable business insights, empowering clients to augment growth and operational efficiency.

But your role doesn't end with data analysis alone. You will play a pivotal consulting role: for example, facilitating workshops, managing workstreams, delivering impactful communications to our clients, providing recommendations on their future, providing training and support on new capabilities. Building strong relationships with stakeholders, you'll collaborate closely to understand their needs, address challenges, and achieve successful outcomes.

Nurturing your commitment to continuous learning, you'll stay at the forefront of industry trends, perpetually exploring advancements in digital product analytics and technology. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping our leadership initiatives and the creation of innovative analytics and AI products and services.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

•    Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
•    Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
•    Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

We are looking to grow our diverse team of consultants. We’d love to meet someone with experiences listed below. If you have some of the skills listed or possess related experience, we encourage you to apply:

  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Experience of proposition building and delivery.
  • Proven professional expertise in digital product analytics and optimisation roles, with a preference for experience in diverse industries, including public sector, CPRD and e-commerce.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in metric development and strategy, tagging websites and applications, server-side tracking implementation, and conducting experimentation using tools like Optimizely. Experience across various platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Amplitude is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights and provide strategic business recommendations for enhancing digital product performance.
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics, data visualization, and proficiency in AI tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying intricate insights clearly and understandably to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Robust business analysis and stakeholder management skills, fostering collaborative relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Degree in Mathematics, STEM, or a supply chain-related field.
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Experience of proposition building and delivery.
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
