The Opportunity

Our team is evolving, and we are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist's to help grow our dynamic team and meet the challenges of the business and shape new ways of working. These roles are full time and permanent.

Your New Role

Reporting to the BI Manager, you'll be leveraging your data expertise and technical knowledge to provide quality solutions for consumers (both strategic and tactical) including data modelling, visualisations, parameterised reports, improved data workflow and complex multi data source solutions.

You'll coach more junior members of Business Intelligence & Analytics team to ensure alignment with the MI strategy and high standards of service are maintained.

Other responsibilities:

  • You'll collect and translate of business requirements into technical data requirements, and the facilitation of the design, development, and implementation of advanced MI solutions.
  • You'll use Agile SCRUM methodology to deliver change iteratively, regularly engaging with stakeholders to ensure the product meets their expectation and fulfils business benefit.
  • The role will have oversight of other team members solutions to ensure high standards of service are maintained and solutions are aligned with the Analytics Framework.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced fit-for-purpose MI solutions.
  • Facilitate the identification and documentation of more complex and unique reporting requirements, provide project support, and implement detailed rollout plans to optimize transition and usage.
  • Provide technical support to our end users on the use and application of data and educate them in the usage of the reporting and analytical tools.
  • Lead business training initiatives
  • Provide expertise into the development of a user roll out strategy to increase the take up and proliferation of MI use across the business.
  • Recommend new products and report delivery approaches to improve the technical capabilities of our customers.

About You

  • BI tool experience in designing full and complete solutions, producing specifications, detailing solutions for approval by business consumers and for technical use by developers and testers.
  • Dashboarding capability (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience in working with Power Platform stack (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Dax Language)
  • Experience of database tools or languages (SQL/ PL-SQL/ Oracle/ Sybase)
  • Experience with wide variety of (large volume) data sources and data analysis
  • Experience in a customer facing / support environment and in training end users.
  • Experience working with business representatives to identify and document business requirements.
  • Experience of the system development lifecycle and disciplines in tandem with a broad awareness of industry standard analysis techniques and approaches
