What you'll be doing:

We are seeking a pragmatic, detail oriented and experienced Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Consultant to join our fast-growing Data & Intelligence practice.

You will have deep experience in Data Analytics and love to collaborate with other Data professionals, engineers, and business or operations experts to understand and address their data needs.

You will be well experienced in managing and analysing large sets of data using a range of statistical and analytical methods, maintaining data integrity and communicating relevant insights to business stakeholders.

You’ll be responsible for collecting and analysing data that can be translated into insights to guide our client’s business strategies as well as inform their product and service development roadmaps.

Your will be expected to lead clients through ambiguity to a value-based outcome, identifying leads, qualifying opportunities with client partners or service line leadership, and proactively contributing to the building of proposals, developing part of a capability.

You’ll be involved in nurturing talents using different learning and development techniques, at more Senior level you’ll be expected to own the creation of proposals, both content and delivery management, lead complex programmes of work and the profitability on their deliveries and coaches others to do so.

In your typical day you’ll be involved in:

  • Input into and drive the creation of go-to-market propositions in Data Analytics.
  • Support client partners and practice leads in pre-sales activities.
  • Act as a go-to practitioner in the area of delivering projects in the Data Analytics field.
  • Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques and providing reports.
  • Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality,
  • Deliver BI and Analytics projects with/ for our clients.
  • Developing professional capabilities and sales at more Senior level.

What you'll need:

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of delivering data analytics projects utilising a broad range of statistical and mathematical methods as well as the more progressive areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Exceptional background in data, consulting, analytics or a related function involving quantitative data analysis to solve problems in variety of contexts, covering multiple sectors, including telecoms and media, banking, insurance, and public sector.
  • Comfortable developing and shaping the project vision.
  • Ability to operate in demanding situations whilst still having relentless drive to deliver with enthusiasm.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools and in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig, Python and R.
  • Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools such as DataRobot, Dataiku, Azure ML, AutoML.
  • Great project management skills and the ability to bring the abstract into focus.
  • Data-oriented personality, great communication skills, and an excellent eye for detail.
