Core Responsibilities
We are looking for a candidate who can champion best practices and takes pride in crafting clean, scalable, and testable code. The ideal applicant will exemplify professional mastery in their field and foster team building and collaboration within the workplace. You will help cultivate an environment that encourages continuous learning and innovation. Having the customer at heart is crucial, as you will tailor solutions to meet their needs effectively. Play your part in our team succeeding
As a member of Platform Engineering, you will join a team of innovative cloud engineers in an ongoing commitment towards unlocking the true value of data. Each engineer plays an intricate role as part of a product team, collaborating in a cross-competency setup and delivering towards commonly defined quarterly objectives on a sprint basis.
With a DevOps approach at the core of each product, you will be fully autonomous in the architectural decisions made when building product features and retain post deployment ownership of all operational aspects of the product, including stability and performance.
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for a candidate with background in Computer Science or similar couple with years' engineering experience in a data driven organization. Ideally you have experience with:
- IaC languages like Terraform & Pulumi
- GitHub CI/CD
- Programming language such as Python
- Cloud providers like AWS and Azure
- Serverless architecture using docker and lambda to support API backends
Nice to haves:
- Understanding of data privacy and compliance
- Knowledge of data contracts and integrated services around them
- Experience with Databricks
- Good analytical skills and focus on problem solving.
- A DevOps mindset centered around security, scalability, and automation
