A bit about us…
The Boots Insights Partnership team is part of our Data Office function. We’re a medium-sized team, a mixture of research and analytical specialists, working together in order to help Boots get to the heart of customer understanding so that we can take action, making sure our brand is set up for another 175 years of success.

Key Responsibilities
This role supports our research and analytical projects across Boots UK and ROI. Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the Research Manager in running projects to develop and measure the effectiveness of our marketing communications (from concept development and creative testing to tracking and evaluating in-market performance)
  • Lead own ad-hoc research projects to support Boots UK, helping to drive change and thought-leadership within the business
  • Be the expert in brand health via our continuous tracking sources (currently Kantar, RepTrak and YouGov), and deliver regular engaging reporting (understanding the results is one thing, delivering them in a compelling way is another)
  • Synthesise data sources from across the team in order to help our stakeholders understand both the depth and breadth of customer issues, and help make commercially astute recommendations therein
  • Contribute ideas to an ambitious team always on the hunt for ideas of how we do better by our shoppers / potential shoppers

A bit about you…

  • Strong project management skills. You’ll be used to juggling a range of projects and deadlines, all with a keen eye for intricate detail
  • Able to see the bigger picture: you’ll have experience of placing a business issue in a wider context of the all available data and information
  • Commercial acumen: you’ll be able to show your understanding of what makes Boots as a business tick
  • Be a storyteller: you’ll have examples of how you’ve adapted your communication style and approaches to inspire people to take your ideas on board
  • Ideally, you’ll have around two year’s experience working in an environment that uses customer data and research – and you won’t be ‘scared’ of the numbers. However, most important are a serious work ethic and willingness to learn, a passion to listen to customers, and the ability to make sure their voice is heard with our business partners
