We are seeking a proactive Analytics Engineer.  You will use groundbreaking technology on GCP BigQuery and DBT to build world class data models to surface data to the company.

Working in an Agile squad, you will design and develop the Business Layer, reflecting the Business Domain entirely. Partnering with the Data Platform Team and Analytics Engineers you will develop core models for obtaining data needed for the business layer within the data democratisation department.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling.
  • Experience with designing and implementing ETL processes for data integration.
  • Proficient in acquiring and documenting data from various sources.
  • Ability to set up monitoring solutions, troubleshoot issues in data pipelines and experience with logging and error handling
  • Knowledge of data transformation tools and techniques within GCP (e.g., DBT).
The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python.
  • A good understanding of Google Cloud Platform services, especially those related to analytics (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage).
