AIML Governance – Vice President
Job Description:
The team collaborates intimately with the Firmwide Chief Analytics Office, Model Risk Governance & Review, Legal, Compliance & Controls to establish and enforce policies and standards that promote responsible AI/ML and Generative AI model development. They engage business and technology stakeholders across Corporate & Investment Bank's lines of business to ensure processes, tools, and controls are in place to support and incorporate AI/ML implementation best practices.
As a Vice President AI/ML Governance Lead within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB), you will have the opportunity to lead multiple initiatives, including the delivery of the strategic In-Business CAO Governance framework. This role allows you to be at the forefront of AI/ML governance, providing you with the chance to shape and influence strategic decisions within the CIB.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the definition and adoption the CIB In Business Analytics Owner operating model and CAO governance roles and responsibilities
- Maintain CIB AI/ML Governance documentation (procedures, charters, operating models, job aids, etc.) including tracking of periodic refreshes
- Partner closely with subject matter experts in AI/ML Data Science, Architecture & Engineering and Data to complete impact assessment of new AI/ML policies, standards and procedures. Work with these teams to define, communicate and manage CIB-wide implementation plans.
- Support the design and build of AI/ML Governance executive management reporting and dashboards
- Provide support and partnership to Controls Management with respect to AI/ML risks and their governance through the CIB CDAO Business Control Forum (‘BCF’)
- Act as liaison / quality control point between control managers and lines of business for any Audit, Regulatory and Client requests
- Enhance and streamline AI/ML governance by helping to define and drive strategic roadmap for firmwide and CIB governance tooling
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with management and other stakeholders to support the goals of the business
- Prior experience in AI/ML and GenAI delivery in financial services industry
- Strong verbal, written, presentation and communication skills, including use of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Effective influencing and persuasion skills with groups outside of core team; ability to build consensus
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to thrive in a changing work environment
- Ability to execute tasks and effectively manage to changes in plan
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of Tableau, Qlik or Alteryx a plus
- Preferred knowledge of banking, markets and trading
