Role Overview:
As an account manager at Women in Data®, you will play a crucial role in driving partner satisfaction by managing relationships with our corporate partners and stakeholders. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing relationships, and ensuring that our corporate clients receive maximum value from their engagement with Women in Data®. Your work will directly contribute to the organisation's mission of empowering women in data, while expanding its reach and influence within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management & Growth:
    • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing corporate partners.
    • Identify new partner opportunities and upsell additional services, programs, or sponsorship packages.
    • Ensure partners and sponsors derive full value from their partnership, driving satisfaction and renewals.
  • Revenue Generation:
    • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, targets through proactive engagement and strategic sponsorship engagement.
    • Create customised proposals and presentations that align Women in Data®’s offerings with the goals of potential clients.
    • Collaborate with the marketing, community and events teams to develop strategies that increase the value of partnerships and foster long-term engagements.
  • Client Success:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience throughout the partnership.
    • Monitor and report on partnership performance, providing feedback to both internal teams and clients for continual improvement.
    • Proactively address any issues, ensuring high levels of partner retention.
  • Market & Industry Insights:
    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and Women in Data®'s value proposition within the market.
    • Act as a subject matter expert, advising clients on the benefits of engaging with Women in Data®'s community and initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, ideally within the tech, data, or diversity and inclusion industries.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage senior-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passionate about diversity and inclusion, particularly in data, technology, or STEM fields.
