Data Resilience Senior Manager x2 (Data Resilience)
Lloyds Banking Group
London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Halifax or Manchester (hybrid working pattern, 1-2 days per week in office & rest from home)
Salary & Benefits: £70,784 to £120,892 base salary, depending on location and experience.
Additional Package: Annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash allowance, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Where does the role sit?
We’re the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) within Lloyds Banking Group!
The Group Chief Data and Analytics Office mission is to promote, embed and commercialise Data and Analytics practice and culture across Lloyds Banking Group.
The Data Resilience team is a new chapter within the Chief Data and Analytics Office. It has the responsibility to define and embed new Strategies, Operating Models and Control Frameworks to protect the Banks critical data services that our customers, colleagues and the market rely upon.
What exactly would you focus on?
You’ll be one of three new senior managers running the Data Resilience teams under the direction of the Head of Data Resilience, who in turn reports directly to our Chief Data officer.
The aim of the team is to protect our customers, colleagues & markets by ensuring we align with the spirit of the regulatory requirements for operational resilience established by the Bank of England, FCA and PRA.
Specifically activities & responsibilities will include;
- Pushing the data resiliency agenda across Lloyds Banking Group. You’ll look at how data flows from source to destination, ensuring resilience throughout.
- You’ll lead a small team of 2-4 Data Resilience experts, providing guidance both in a personal development capacity and also technical leadership & development.
- You’ll establish controls and assessment frameworks that identify data vulnerabilities across a complex data and technical landscape (e.g. on premise, 3rd party and cloud environments.
- You’ll run and embed data assessments engaging a large and diverse customer group.
- You’ll analyse outcomes to identify and prioritise remediation of risks
- You’ll support Data Mapping & Data Lineage good practice
- Data Management Reporting – you’ll design metrics & dashboards to support insight & accountability.
- You’ll present findings & influence stakeholders.
What do we need to see from your application?
We’re keen to see diverse and varied applications, however as this is a critical & senior role for us we need to see the following experience within your CV’s to consider you for interview;
- Experience working within a similar role focused on Data Resilience, for example as Senior Manager within data or perhaps a Data Architect.
- Technical knowledge & experience of the considerations regarding Data Resilience (including awareness of FCA / PRA regulation).
- Technical knowledge of Data Architecture & Data Lineage at scale, within a large corporate environment.
- Financial Service background.
- Prior experience running small teams, or being ready to make that jump into senior management.
- Experience technical design experience using visualisation tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau or similar.
