The Barilla Acceleration Team is now recruiting a Data, Research and Insights Analyst who will sit in the Barilla Observatory Global team.

Job Description

The role consists in running regular analysis, providing insights for the business across multiple categories (pasta, condiments, and bakery) and offering actionable recommendation to the marketing teams.
The data collection and analysis will leverage mostly digital data but also some sales data. We are looking for someone who is passionate about finding the right insights and communicate them to non-technical teams, suggesting tangible solutions that can help us growing the business.
The Analyst will be working in the Global Observatory Team located in London in an international team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyse data coming from several digital data sources (conversations monitoring, web analytics, search data, sales data, media data, social media performances, etc.) and sales and turn them into actionable insights for the marketing teams.
  • Produce regular reports across all our categories (Pasta, Condiments and Bakery) on an international level.
  • Analyse, report and communicate the recent trends in consumer behaviour, food and ingredients, and social media.
  • Leveraging data points to define audiences, decision journey, identify global and market trends delivering impactful solutions and measurable business value.
  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations across the business and the categories to marketing teams, according to current marketing strategies and performances.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to implement the omnichannel data framework translating multiple datasets into key strategic insights.
  • Coordinate and manage agency’s deliverables, making sure the work is up to high quality standards.

Background And Experience

Min. 4 years of experience in digital research field for marketing activities including:

  • Experience with data and analytics reporting with a strong focus on insights generation.
  • Experience with social media analysis and social listening.
  • Experience in identifying consumer trends utilising digital data.
  • Proficiency in Boolean language to create queries.
  • Experience with marketing campaign reporting.
  • Experience working in a digital marketing environment and knowledge of key digital marketing KPIs (CPC/ CACs etc.).
  • Proven experience in turning data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with digital data tools such as Brandwatch, Google Analytics, SEMRush, SimilarWeb, Global Web Index, Sprinklr or similar.
