How will your role contribute at NewDay?

In this exciting role you will be responsible for delivering credit decision strategy improvements to the customer journey. Your contribution will allow NewDay to continue to make effective decisions as well as support the company’s drive to innovate in the consumer credit space.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

  • Delivering changes to the decision systems, supporting business needs. This will involve the development of strategies, testing, documentation and monitoring from both a project and BAU perspective
  • Analysing business requirements to assess the impact on systems infrastructure and customer journeys
  • Supporting the management and planning of deliveries, including deputising for management in various working groups and forums
  • Supporting architectural discussions and contributing to large scale product designs
  • Building collaborative relationships with your team's partners to ensure accurate and effective execution of business requirements
  • Adhering to coding standards when working within the decision system software
  • Maintaining release documentation to a high standard, ensuring governance procedures are followed

  • Ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical individuals

Desirable

  • Previous Credit Risk or Financial Services experience or an understanding of the retail credit industry and it's products
  • Knowledge of technical delivery lifecycles
  • Experience using Credit Risk Decision Systems tools, for example Provenir, PowerCurve/Strategy Design Studio, Strategy Manager, Blaze Advisor or TRIAD
