In a world where data is the new gold, we depend on People Analytics for high-stakes decision-making, impacting not only the talent journey, but every line of business.We have a rare and very exciting opportunity to join us at Volvo Cars as the Head of People Analytics in the People Experience (PX/HR) organization.As Head of People Analytics you own the strategic global People Analytics agenda to drive talent, engagement, and workforce analytics across Volvo Cars. Together with an agile product team you will provide strategic insights as well as the digital backbone making data easily accessible. You will continue the development of the People Analytics capabilities and turn numbers into compelling narratives that strengthen the data-driven decision making in our leadership teams.
What you’ll do:
You will partner with leaders and subject matter experts throughout the PX organization to provide effective people reporting and analysis. An important part of this is to help them grow their own ability to apply a people analytics lens on their line of business and thereby impact Volvo Cars on a broad scale. In collaboration with the People Analysts, Reporting Specialists and Developers of the People Analytics team you push forward in this arena thorough continuous enhancement of digital solutions and ways of working with the organization to relentlessly identify areas of opportunity. E.g. our offer is to be further automated to democratize data access and you will work strategically to make this happen as well as pave the way for new solutions in the organization. This role will also drive cross functional- & organizational initiatives and collaborations in order to expand the business value of People Analytics within Volvo Cars.
What you’ll bring:
We are looking for a person with a strong track record in the People Analytics arena who has established high performing analytics capabilities in fast-moving environments. You have a proven ability to gather and use data to inform decisions and in-depth analytical experience from the HR domain. Having experience in using tools like Glint and SuccessFactors is meritorious.To succeed in this role, you must be a captivating storyteller passionate about reaching across the table to contextualize identified insights with partners in the PX community and our business units, and able to deliver action-oriented responses to questions these partners may not even have thought to ask.You bring great strategic and holistic skills and with drive and focus, you make sure the strategy becomes reality. Making the complex simple is one of your super-powers; you package, brand and communicate the vision and strategy of how to get there in a way that creates clarity and inspires the company to get to action!You have an outstanding capability to balance different stakeholders to be able to make decisions that are best for Volvo Cars globally. You love new digital solutions and innovative ways of solving complex issues. You have a structured approach where you always put the end user at the center to realize true business value. As a leader, you are inclusive and are known for creating an open and trusting environment. You are passionate about bringing out the best in every individual and you are great at empowering diverse and global teams.
