The Twenty in Data & Tech Awards process is free. There is no cost to enter, to nominate, or to become an awardee.
It is no secret that having positive role models increases one’s potential. If you have been fortunate enough to meet an inspirational woman, nominating her for the Twenty in Data & Tech could give her the recognition that she deserves, whilst providing other women the opportunity to feel as inspired as you have. This could be someone that taught you at university, perhaps you worked with them, or even have never met, but their work has given you motivation and empowerment.
That person could even be you!
Awardees will be revealed to the public during a live event in 2026, where they will be invited to the stage. Thereafter, information about the Twenty in Data & Tech, Series 8 will be hosted on the Women in Data® website and in numerous media articles. The accolade has been life-changing for many previous awardees, with the award opening up doorways to promotions, speaking opportunities, greater exposure and media celebration of their achievements.
Each Twenty in Data & Tech awardee will be photographed by the exceptionally talented and multi-award-winning, Sane Seven – https://www.saneseven.com/.
We have worked with Sane Seven for each series to date; their portraits and professionalism are second to none.
In return, awardees are expected to act as Women in Data® ambassadors and role models. This may be through sharing social media content, speaking at events or endorsing activities/services.
Women in Data® is taking the following measures throughout the judging process to ensure transparency, reduce bias and prevent potential conflicts of interest.
