Women often don’t put themselves forward for promotion
The Gender Gap in self-promotion is reflective of an underlying gender gap in how individuals subjectively evaluate their own performance.
According to a Hewlett Packard study, men will apply for a job when they meet only 60% of the qualifications but women apply only if they meet 100% of them. A self-promotion is an essential tool for career advancement.
Women have to realise that they are valuable and worth it.
