Job Purpose

Responsible for the deployment of digital analytics, marketing & other supporting technologies (e.g. compliance / chat) across the digital estate

The ideal candidate will have strong digital analytics experience, and previous jobs as a Web Analytics professional or equivalent, and will be proven at making site improvements in conversion, acquisition and retention metrics using online analysis tools.

  • Hands-on experience in working Dynamic Tag Manager / Adobe Launch tool
  • Manage data validity and verification as well as documentation of critical metrics
  • Ensure smooth flow of information end-to-end with our tool implementations
  • Document and inform on process improvements and identifying gaps
  • Ensure the appropriate analytics tools and platforms are implemented and maintained.
  • Technical writing and maintaining of process and implementation documents.
  • Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, design, and marketing.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement, seek solutions and make recommendations.
  • Implement and configure Adobe Analytics reporting suite, metrics, variables, success events, marketing channels etc.
  • Perform requirements gathering and responsible for conducting detailed site analysis on different sites / apps to identify the key dimensions and metrics
  • Develop effective analytics solution design reference (SDR) to enable efficient data management and analysis throughout all Canadian division wide digital properties
  • Work with the DEV and mobile team to ensure the data layers and mobile analytics are implemented against standard requirement.
  • Data and reporting QA of both low-level data and generated reports, including self-directed usage of database records
  • Partners with marketing teams to ensure use of appropriate tracking metrics and methodology are in place to measure marketing campaigns and media performance.
  • Support the analytic needs of a business unit by analyzing web traffic using Adobe Analytics
  • Exhibits high degree of pro-activeness in analyzing customer behavior using available data to influence changes on the website
  • Create holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to senior management team

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to establish himself/herself as the face of digital analytics across Prudential.

Delivery:

  • Typical deliverables would be
    • Weekly, monthly reports (Adobe Workspace, PowerBi)
    • Website behavior and customer experience analysis.
    • Analytics Implementation, data consolidation and validation.
    • Coordinating tags, tracking parameter implementations.
    • Documentation relating to existing processes and suggestion / presentations for improving those processes
    • Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for project teams and business leaders
  • Providing on-going quality assurance and testing around the reliability of online analytics data
  • Provide analysis to deliver the New & Existing Customer Strategy driving customer acquisition online.
  • Responsibility and Attention to Detail - Take responsibility for delivery of precise and accurate analyses, models, dashboards and reports to tight timescales and work to resolve problems when they occur
  • Providing tracking recommendations for analytics

Required Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Mandatory)

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Tag Manager tools
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Adobe Analytics-(Site Catalyst)
  • A knowledge of technical aspects of web analytics and the surrounded technology (search, affiliate, email, social, display, cookies, HTML, JavaScript, sessions)
  • Exposure to
  • Digital marketing strategies- SEO/SEM/PR/Social/Affiliate/Adwords
  • A/B & Multivariate testing

Good to have Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Desired)

  • Python knowledge and experience will be a major plus
  • PowerBI knowledge would also be an added advantage
  • Participate in various initiatives/forums/groups and contribute effectively from idea creation to prototype development. Support Strategic programs

Experience

  • Overall 3-5 years of experience in Web Analytics
