THE ROLE

Talon has a great opportunity for a bright, confident individual with an analytical mind and can-do attitude to work in our growing Product and Data team. This role will make an important contribution to supporting the team’s mission to devise and deliver data-driven solutions for our clients and partners. Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines whilst maintaining a high quality of output and attention to detail, as well as building great relationships, is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS

As an Account Exec within the Product and Data team, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a thorough understanding and becoming a super user of Talon’s proprietary technology stack
  • Seeing campaigns through from inception to onboarding, delivery, creative and reporting and provide insights that can be applied to subsequent campaigns.
  • Be a single point of contact and take ownership of any query, request or issue. Liaising with media owners and internal teams to activate, troubleshoot and report on all campaign aspects.
  • Produce analysis from campaigns and contribute towards creating insights which helps to solve audience targeting and campaign planning challenges
  • Using PowerPoint and data visualisation software & techniques to explain and showcase analysis and make analysis-based recommendations to campaign planners, partner agencies and clients
  • Supporting campaign planning teams in developing effective out-of-home solutions for clients using intelligent data led techniques
  • Building strong working relationships and collaborating closely with internal teams & external partners
  • Producing ad hoc reports and analysis and contribute to other tasks as required
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry reports and data regulations and help the team to make informed business decisions about any opportunities or challenges in this space
  • Ensure trackers are kept up to date and accurate
  • Provide feedback to the team on the platform user experience to help inform future developments

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

Type of technical, specialised, professional skills or personal attributes that are required to achieve the key outputs above. Some examples are:

  • Work experience in media campaign management.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of the media agency landscape, preferably Omnicom Media Group.
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving team delivering solutions for clients or business partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, love to help and is naturally solution and resolution focused.
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and pro-active
  • Knowledge of SQL or AWS/Athena and/or experience in using other coding languages is a bonus
