Story of Kiran
With a strong industry, software and data advisory consulting background, Kiran is an experienced data leader, designing and delivering large scale data programs for Insurance, Financial Services, Utilities, Retail, Government and Healthcare organisations. She has focused on setting up complex data operations environments, delivering agile data management, data quality improvement, MDM, governance and regulatory compliance supported by cutting edge technology, analytics and BI. She has led large-scale regulatory programs ensuring compliance in complex organisations and drives data successes through people development, change management and process improvement, helping businesses to successfully manage and exploit data assets. She excels at nurturing robust stakeholder relationships and consistently achieving and exceeding targets and expectations.
Kiran developed the Lean Data Governance approach which focuses on delivering value through improved, more efficient processes. She has been invited to present this approach worldwide at notable events and is well recognised in the data world as a thought leader, speaker and author. Kiran places an emphasis on developing and nurturing talent within the team that will ultimately enable the delivery of good quality, trustworthy data. She is an active coach and mentor, helping advance the careers of men and women who may have the potential but struggle with articulating strengths. She understands that confidence is a major part of success and works with young people to instil a level of confidence that helps them succeed. There Are many capable individuals that do not necessarily get the platform upon which to propel their careers. Kiran works with them to identify the opportunities, and gives them the tools with which to realise their potential.
Kiran entered the world of data and technology when much of the team was male dominated. She persevered using her confidence, personality and determination to overcome obstacles and use knock-backs as a positive career driver, she didn’t let ethnicity, gender, age and other factors affect her chances of success.
